Outstanding work towards inclusive Health & Education among children of underprivileged sections of society
Founded by Dr. Anupriya Chadha, Sankalp since its inception in 2006 has evolved and transformed itself to respond to the perceived changing needs of children from the disadvantaged and marginalized groups. The interventions of Sankalp include free health check-ups and providing education of equitable quality to children from the disadvantaged groups. The mission of the NGO is to empower the underprivileged through health and education initiatives. Sankalp has taken up various initiatives like conducting free health camps, constructing girls’ toilets and reaching out to 1281 girls, providing disability certificates to 100 visually impaired (2016 -2018) after a thorough medical assessment and free health education to children in urban slums, reaching out to 100 children, since March 2018.
